This coming December, as things are normalizing, what books are you planning (or will continue) to read?
[If possible] Why?
Iām currently reading Mask of Troy, but Iām excited to reading Julius Caesar by Shakespeare and possibly āThe Wealth of Nationsā by Adam Smith

Just finalizing a draft copy of āGrokking
Simplicityā. Nice reading that discusses
Functional Programming without the jargon. Canāt
wait for the final copy.
Also, got back into SICP. Majorly because Iām more
mature and understand the concepts better.
Finally, I want to read Judea Pearlās: The book of
why mostly because my employer bought me a copy
and he strongly recommends it. So heck, why not?
Iām currently reading Mask of Troy,
Book 5 of a 10 book series! Oof! I envy
you. Somewhere along the way I gave up on reading
series⦠Need to get back to that spaceā
problem is, Iāve been saying that for a long time
now :ā(
but Iām excited to reading Julius Caesar by
Shakespeare and possibly āThe Wealth of Nationsā
by Adam Smith
Oof! Those sound like hardcore classics \m/\m/
+1
Luckily, it acts pretty much as a standalone. I didnāt even know it was part of a series lol
Honestly, I need to go through some classics.

Ha!
Honestly, I need to go through some classics.
Iāve always found classics had to read. And by
classics, mean books written before the calculus
was invented
Iām currently re-reading Fooled by Randomness by Nassim Taleb to kill time.
However a colleague of mine recommended to me to read The Stormlight Archive series starting with the first book called The Way of Kings. Iām not sure if anyone could thumbs up this recommendation. Iāll hopefully be on this as well once I acquire a copy.
Stormlight archive is an amazing series. The only problem I have with it is that it isnāt complete. Iāve only read the first two books in the series though.
Currently, Iām reading The Alchemyst and Show me, Donāt Tell Me
Second thumbs up for the Stormlight Archive is incredibly. Sandersonās hard magic systems are usually great, Roshar is a beautiful setting, and the characters are rich and compelling.
